Kappa Alpha Theta
Words from the President:
Kappa Alpha Theta has brought me so much joy and laughter into my life. Going through recruitment was the best decision of my life because I found a place where I can completely be my genuine self and so comfortably speak my mind. Every activity such as our philanthropy events, sisterhood events, to chapter is always something to look forward to when I am surrounded by these incredible women. Theta is a place where women develop into leading women who encourage each other to be the best they can be.
Words from the Philanthropy: Chair:
Kappa Alpha Theta has three philanthropies that we commit ourselves to: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), the Theta Foundation and the Friendship Fund. CASA is a non-profit organization that recruits, trains and supports volunteers to represent abused and neglected children in the court system. CASA volunteers are able to devote themselves to a child’s case, provide stability in a child’s life and advocate on behalf of the child in court in order to ensure that they are placed in a safe and permanent home. The Theta Foundation raises money for scholarships and educational programs for the fraternity, and the Friendship Fund provides financial gifts to sisters experiencing extreme or unforeseen financial hardships. Our sisterhood is constantly raising awareness and financial support for these incredible organizations. Our goal is to help make a positive impact in the world through our philanthropic endeavors!
