Involvement: The sisters of Alpha Sigma Alpha host a haunted house with Lambda Fraternity to raise money for UDance. They transform the Lambda chapter house into a haunted house for students to enter.. if they dare. The ASA sisters also host a trivia night with Theta Chi Fraternity to raise money for the philanthropy they both share: The Special Olympics. These women also host a fashion show every spring to raise money for Girls on the Run.

Sisterhood: The bond of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sisterhood is a light that burns passionately in each sister. They embrace a unique relationship based on friendship, respect, and a shared vision. Wherever they go, and no matter how long ago they were initiated, each sister is connected and important to the sorority. Our sisterhood is one of a kind. Whether its zoom workout classes, picnics on the green , finals week study sessions, or photoshoots outside of Memorial Hall, there is always something to do with the amazing sisters of ASA!

Words from the Chapter President: "Becoming a member of ASA has given me the opportunity to grow and learn, which has made me the woman I am today. Our sisterhood is what encompasses my college life and it has been amazing to be a part of the Panhellenic community. Our sisterhood has brought me community and belonging into my life at Delaware. Every member of ASA is always ready to give a helping hand and has taught me poise, purpose, and what it means to be a sister. I am so blessed that ASA gave me the group of girls that have given me opportunities, lifelong friendships, and made me happier than anywhere else."

"Thinking back to three years ago when I went through recruitment, I couldn’t have imagined all of the opportunities and people ASA has led me too. I am so lucky to be part of this group of young women. In particular, I’m so grateful to have met my big, my little, and my g-little. My college experience would not be what it is without them and it is so fun to add a new member to our family each year! With UDance, our philanthropy events on campus, and being able to have a position on our executive board, I have been able to get involved on campus and push myself to be the best version that I can be. ASA has my heart, along with all of the people in it!"

"Joining ASA has impacted my life more than I thought a sorority ever could. It has given me my best friends who have completely transformed my college experience on their own and a huge support system behind me that I am constantly grateful for. No matter what kind of day I am having whenever I go to chapter, recruitment practice, or any event, my mood is instantly lifted when I see all the girls smiling and goofing around with each other. ASA has such a unique and fun energy and it is something I noticed right away and is what made me feel so welcomed to be myself. I feel so beyond lucky to be a part of such an amazing chapter of women who genuinely care about each other and want nothing but the best for one another. I honestly do not know what I would do if I hadn’t met this group of wonderful girls or found my home within this chapter."
